Programs – Psychoanalyst Disclosure Notice

Frenkel & Co., Inc. (“Frenkel”) has a long term Program Administrator Agreement (the “Agreement”) with American Home Assurance Company (“American Home”) in connection with American Home’s Professional Liability Insurance Program and Psychoanalytic Institute Professional Liability Insurance Program (collectively, “Programs”).

These Programs are offered exclusively by American Home through Frenkel.  Pursuant to the Agreement, Frenkel has agreed to undertake various duties for American Home such as the processing of insurance applications; rating, quoting and issuing insurance policies; making individual risk filings and providing cancellation or non-renewal notices. As a result of this arrangement, Frenkel does not act exclusively for the insured in connection with the sale and issuance of any insurance policy under the Programs.  As a result of this arrangement, Frenkel also does not handle any claims on behalf of American Home or insureds in the program other than to facilitate and pass along claims-related inquiries and communications between insureds and American Home while maintaining a neutral position regarding same.
