John F. Kelly
President and Chief Executive Officer
John has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and founded the Frenkel National Accounts Department in 1985. Over the past thirty-five years, John has worked extensively in both the domestic and London markets and has enhanced Frenkel’s reputation in the French market with both insurers and brokers. In January of 2001 John led the management buyout of Frenkel’s ESOP and returned Frenkel & Company to private ownership. As President and CEO, John remains actively involved in the more complex accounts within Frenkel. He is an active member and past president of the New York Chapter of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters.
He serves on the Insurance Executive Board of the Atlantic Healthcare Systems, is a Trustee for Partners in Health, a Director of A Lot to Grow, a Council Member at the University of Notre Dame for the College of Arts and Letters and a Board Member of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. John obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Baruch College, part of The City University of New York in 1977 and CPCU designation in 1981.
Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer
As COO Joe is responsible for the management of key profit centers with a major focus on business development and delivery of the Frenkel value added proposition. In addition to his overall leadership responsibilities Joe manages the Ocean marine division and has an extensive background in placement of complex marine risks with an emphasis on the design and implementation within the marine construction field and logistics. Joe participates on several insurance carrier Brokers Counsels including Zurich and Liberty Mutual as well as being Frenkel’s representative at Assurex Global, the world’s largest privately held insurance Brokerage group.
With over 40 years Brokers experience, Joe spent his early career with Adams & Porter NY up until 1992 when acquired by Frenkel. Joe has produced and serviced accounts ranging from Owner-Operator to multi-nationals.
Joe is a graduate of the College of Insurance.
President of Frenkel Benefits & Senior Executive Vice President of Frenkel and Company
Craig Hasday is President of Frenkel Benefits and Senior Executive Vice President of Frenkel and Company. Frenkel Benefits is one of the largest privately held independent employee benefits brokers in the United States.
He is a nationally recognized healthcare leader, who has sat on the national advisory boards of Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and WellPoint, as well as the regional advisory boards of most major carriers. He has been appointed to the MetLife National Broker & Consultant Summit and sits on the Global and Domestic Benefit Advisory Boards of Assurex Global.
Frenkel Benefits is also a member of IBN and GBN Worldwide. Craig is an appointee to Governor Cuomo’s Regional Stakeholder Exchange Board and the chair of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) Principals Council, a liaison to the White House, HHS, the U.S. Treasury and Congress to advise on the practical issues associated with ACA implementation. He is on the board of the NAHU Education Foundation and a member of the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation Regional Board of Directors.
Craig was selected as a 2015 Power Broker by Risk & Insurance Magazine. He is a frequent speaker on a broad array of issues affecting the insurance industry and is an adjunct professor in the New York University Masters of Human Capital Management Program.
Craig has appeared on CBS and other TV news programs as a healthcare commentator and is widely published and interviewed by media as a benefits expert. As a judge for the 2014 and 2015 Business Insurance Benefit Manager of the Year awards, he contributes his benefits expertise toward selecting this prestigious award’s winner. Craig can be heard on WCBS Newsradio 880 during the evening business report speaking about healthcare reform and employer strategy in a segment titled, FrenkelySpeaking, which is based on the Frenkel Benefits’ blog.
Craig joined Frenkel in 1992, as the manager of what was then the Life & Employee Benefits department. Under his leadership, Frenkel Benefits has expanded almost twelvefold in revenue, now serving almost 800 clients across the U.S. and globally.
He is a New York State CPA, formerly working in the New York office of a big-four accounting firm. Craig has experience as an audit and tax professional, chief financial officer and a small business owner. This diverse background brings an in-depth appreciation for the challenges facing clients.
Jacqueline Beaudet, Esq.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Jacqueline is Frenkel’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel, responsible for overseeing all aspects of Frenkel’s legal, compliance, risk management, regulatory, and human resources matters. She is actively involved in advising senior management with respect to the legal implications of all major decisions, strategies and transactions of the company and in implementation of decisions. Jacqueline also serves on Frenkel’s acquisitions committee, providing guidance over the course of each transaction from due diligence through closing. In addition to corporate responsibilities, Jacqueline interacts with Frenkel’s wide client base, providing counseling on all aspects of their insurance coverage and claims matters.
Jacqueline joined Frenkel in 2008 in the role of Complex Claims Coordinator. In that position, she guided clients through all aspects of their insurance and risk management needs including interpretation of policy wordings, negotiations of insurance carrier coverage positions across multiple lines of coverage, and the risk transfer implications of various contracts.
Prior to joining Frenkel, Jacqueline was an Associate in the law firm of Mendes & Mount, LLP, where she represented international and domestic insurers in a wide variety of coverage matters, including lawyer professional liability, miscellaneous errors and omissions, art house professional liability and direct litigation.
Jacqueline has a Bachelor in Psychology from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Let’s Go Play, a not-for-profit organization addressing the needs of autistic children.
